Gordonsville Exchange Hotel
In Gordonsville, the Exchange Hotel is now a medical museums more than 7,000 troops both Yankee and Rebel were treated there.


Louisa Town History Museum
Louisa is a unique historical center with its own museum marking area progress since the 1700s. Patrick Henry was Louisa’s delegate to the Virginia legislature and later America’s Congress. The largest cavalry battle of the Civil War was fought here and a rebuilt Netherlands Tavern is open upon appointment displaying loads of antiques from that era.


Richmond Science Museum
The Museum features permanent exhibitions about space, health, electricity and Earth—to name a few—and hosts visiting exhibitions from around the world. The Dome theater, at 76 feet, is the largest screen in Virginia and provides guests with the ultimate immersive experience.


Richmond Children’s Museum
The Children’s Museum of Richmond, a not-for-profit organization, exists to create innovative learning experiences for all children, and those who support them, that inspire the next generation of creative problem solvers.
