Those Summer Nights- Featured Pavilion Events

Small Country Campground has a season jam packed with awesome performances that are sure to entertain! Summer nights mean concerts at Small Country! There is nothing better than sitting outside on a summer night enjoying some live music.

Below are some Summer Concert tips to ensure a good time is had by all!

  • Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate!

Summers in Virginia can get hot! That is why it is important to drink plenty of water during the day to stay hydrated. It is always a good idea to bring a water bottle with you to the show as well!

  • Bring a Blanket

Not only is a blanket a perfect way to get comfortable when watching the show, but also can come in handy if it gets chilly when the sun goes down!

  • Smartphone or Camera

Concerts can be extremely exciting events and sure way to make memories. Make sure to bring a camera or a phone with a camera so you can snap some pictures and videos to remember forever!

  • Sunscreen and Sunglasses

Depending on when the show is the sun can really be intense. Even if the show is in the afternoon or in the evening the setting sun can be strong. Protecting yourself from the harsh rays is always a good idea.

  • Bug spray

Nothing is sure to ruin the good time being had at a concert than being eaten alive by mosquitos. Bug spray is an easy step that you can take to keep the bugs away so you can enjoy the show.

Concert events are held at either Liberty Park, The Song Shack, or Pavilion I or II. From jazz to country and classic rock to a DJ there is something for everyone. Our Summer concert season runs from May to October and features 21 concerts and over 10 different artists.
