The Manor House

The Manor House, our 3 bedroom original farm house features a spiral staircase with a grand view of Lake Ruth Ann through a two story picture window. Built in 1823 as a log cabin, the Manor House, steeped in history, was used in 1864 as a field hospital in the battle of Trevilian Station – the largest all-calvary battle of the Civil War. With antiquest on display in every room, down to the old woodpburning kitchen stove, the Manor House delivers a sensory experience with modern amenities.

The experience of renting one of our campers — the PM Trailer Homes are rustic, truly trailers and offer the camping experience most campers seek. They have decks, grills and fire pits. Look for the Grebe, the Grouse, the Goldfinch, the Flicker, and the Ibis. Camper trailer houses can be pulled by hitches on pickup trucks, SUVs and some minivans. They range from very small up to 33 feet in length and can sleep up to six people.

No bath

We offer two beautiful cabins available for rent. Each in open concept efficiency style – one large room with queen bed, bunk beds, kitchen, and dining. Both feature decks overlooking the lake and include both a grill and fire pit. Look for the Dove which sleeps four and the Eagle which sleeps six.

We are after all a campground, and we offer a number of types of sites in which you can comfortably hook up your RV. Super Sites offer high speed internet (wi fi), DirecTV, sewer, water & 50-amp electric, plus a fire pit/grill & picnic table. Full Hook-up sites offer 30-amp electric, sewer & water, plus a fire pit/grill & picnic table. Partial Hook-up sites offer 30-amp electric and water ( no sewer service). Plus a picnic table.

Sites for Your Tents

No campground is complete without sites dedicated to tent camping! Tent (or primitive) sites offer no utilities. Most have a picnic table. If you are tent camping with a group, there are two types of Group Sites both with picnic tables and grills or fire pits with grates. Black 00 is a group tent site that offers water and electric and can accommodate up to 5 tents. We have a number Primitive (no utilities) Group Tent Sites – Lakeside, Aspin Point, Gatehouse 5, and Purple 41 – that can each accommodate 5 to 10 tents.
